Lassiter High School’s homecoming parade takes place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 5:30 pm. This year’s homecoming theme is Rio Carnaval, so expect plenty of color and a little extra “dance like nobody’s grading you” energy.
Parade staging takes place in the Home Depot parking lot, starting in the area between Wendy’s and BP. The route heads down Shallowford Road toward Lassiter, with viewing spots along Shallowford from Gordy Parkway to Lassiter High School. For a clear view as entries pass by, spectators are asked to stay on the sidewalk closest to Harrison Tennis Park.
Parade setup begins at 4 pm, and spectators should plan to arrive by around 5 pm to find parking and snag a good sidewalk spot. Parade participants throw plenty of candy, so consider bringing a small grocery bag to hold the candy your kids collect, and to prevent pockets from turning into a sticky mystery later.
