Pope High School’s annual Homecoming Parade takes place on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 5:30 pm. Hembree Road is closing at 5:20 pm, so plan to arrive a little early so you can get settled before the first convertibles roll by.
The route starts at the Manor House Road and Meadow Drive intersection, then continues west down Hembree Road to Pope High School. Spectators are asked to watch from the north side of the road, on the sidewalk side.
Participants include the Homecoming Court, SGA, athletic teams, fine arts groups, the school mascot, and more. There will also be candy, which is often the most important part for our younger spectators.
After the parade, food trucks will be on campus, with dinner or snacks available for purchase.
