The brothers behind the concept, David and Michael Cohen, grew up in the area and shaped the restaurant with experience from both the restaurant world and high-volume supply chain operations. Their goal is to make as much as possible in-house so every bite reflects their own work. That includes sauces, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, and all pizza dough. The approach gives the menu a grounded identity that leans Southern while still feeling familiar to pizza fans, which is a neat trick considering the number of places slinging slices in the area.
The menu covers snacks, salads, sandwiches, and a full lineup of sourdough, wood-fired pies. Highlights include pimento cheese grit fritters with a spicy honey drizzle, smoked wings, mini calzones, fried brussels sprouts, and several creative salads. The pizza section ranges from classic Margherita to pies topped with brisket, smoked chicken, and even peach marmalade for those who like a little adventure. Guests can order by the slice on weekdays or build their own creation from an extensive topping list.
The drink program features cocktails built around local spirits, plus rotating draft beer selections from breweries around Georgia. A few of the cocktails playfully nod to Atlanta, including the City in the Forest and Appalachian Gold.
