The Avenue East Cobb is welcoming a few new additions, including a sushi restaurant called Tenku Sushi in the stylish yet currently vacant “jewel box” space that includes a rooftop bar. An Italian restaurant called Luga and an Italian bakery called Giulia (same owners) are also taking over the former Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar spot, bringing the fresh taste of Italy to the neighborhood. The Flying Biscuit Café, located at 4880 Lower Roswell Rd Ste 70 in the Parkaire Landing shopping center, permanently closed on September 27, 2024. The café initially opened on March 15, 2021, but experienced an abrupt closure in August of the same year. It reopened under new ownership on September 12, 2022, before ultimately announcing its permanent closure in September of 2024.
