Lassiter High School wrapped up its holiday drive with results strong enough to make even the most seasoned elf nod in approval. More than 30 clubs teamed up to gather 1,426 donated items for MUST Ministries, boosting local support during a season when help goes a long way. Students also assembled 274 hygiene packs for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, proving that teenagers can organize more than group chats and last-minute homework questions.
The drive drew participation from an impressive spread of Lassiter organizations:
- DECA
- Science National Honor Society
- Spanish Honor Society
- Pickleball Club
- Automotive Club
- Tabletop Club
- HoPe
- Student Council
- Sandwich Support Circle
- Mu Alpha Theta
- Gold Strong Club
- Asian Student Alliance
- Lassiter Fashion Club
- LABS
- SOS
- Model UN
- Math Team
- English Honors Society
- Mock Trial
- Trojan Trail Club
- National Art Honor Society
- FBLA
- Green Club
- Fencing Club
- Lassiter Interact
- MSA
Each group played a part in the collection effort, turning one December project into a wide display of generosity. Students sorted, packed, counted, recounted, and probably debated who stacked boxes most efficiently, all to support families across Cobb County.
