School of Rock East Cobb turns fall break into five days of guitars, drums, keys, microphones, and rehearsal time during its Fall Break Rock 101 Camp. The program is designed for beginning musicians ages 7-12, including students with no previous experience.
Campers spend the week learning songs through rehearsals, individual practice, musical games, and other activities. Bass, drums, guitar, keys, and vocals are among the available instruments, and students may rotate between instruments based on the needs of the group. By Friday, all that practice leaves the rehearsal room and heads to the stage for a live performance for family and friends.
There are worse ways to spend fall break than plugged into an amp and learning what happens after somebody counts off the first song.
Instruments and Camp Activities
Students are expected to bring their own instruments for camp when possible, although School of Rock East Cobb can supply instruments when needed. Campers should also bring a nut free lunch, snacks, and a water bottle labeled with their name each day.
Clothing and footwear should be suitable for indoor and outdoor activities. Parents or guardians need to bring students inside for drop off and return for pickup, since campers are not permitted to leave the building on their own.
A completed waiver is required for participation. Registered families can access the required forms through the School of Rock client portal referenced in their confirmation email.

Fall Break Rock 101 Camp takes place September 21 through September 25, 2026. The Friday performance begins at 1 pm at School of Rock East Cobb. Additional performance information will be provided to families during camp.
