2026 Taste of East Cobb

Taste of East Cobb takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, and features a day filled with food, entertainment, activities, and fun. The annual food festival takes place at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church from 11am to 5pm and showcase the best of East Cobb’s culinary scene.

Attendees can look forward to tasting dishes from 25+ local restaurants and exploring booths from 30+ vendors. The Kids’ Zone will return with new activities, there will be a silent auction, and there will be live performances by local schools including Walton High School, Wheeler High School, Dickerson Middle School, and Dodgen Middle School.

Admission to the festival is free, with individual “taste” tickets available for purchase, allowing guests to sample a variety of offerings from participating restaurants. After enjoying some food, guests are encouraged to participate in the “Best of Taste of East Cobb” voting competition, so mark your calendars for a delightful day of food, fun, and entertainment.

Admission:
Free, tastes are $1 to $5, cash and credit cards accepted.
Kid Zone activities range from 2 tickets to 5 tickets.
Cotton candy, drinks, and activities range from 1 to 2 tickets.

Parking:
Park at the event or across the street at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church athletic field parking lot.

About Taste of East Cobb:
Established in 2006, Taste of East Cobb is organized by the Walton Band Parents Association, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.  Their mission is to provide financial, logistical, and administrative support to the Walton band program and all proceeds from Taste of East Cobb directly benefit the Walton High School band.

2025 Winners:
Winners from 2025 included Sterling Estates for Favorite Overall Taste for a fifth year in a row and Aapka Food Adda, which received both the Rookie Award.  In addition, Smallcakes won the People’s Choice.

2024 Winners:
Winners from 2024 included Sterling Estates for Favorite Overall Taste and Verandah Indian Cuisine, which received both the Rookie Award and Most Unique Taste.  In addition, Schmoo.Pies won Most Scrumptious Sweet and Righteous ‘Que was voted Most Likely to Order Seconds.
