Chick-fil-A fans in East Cobb and Marietta are getting a first taste of something new. The Sprayberry Chick-fil-A at 2530 Sandy Plains Road is inviting guests to sample a free Chick-fil-A Chicken & Waffles Sandwich during a limited-time test from August 27 through August 30, 2025.
The event requires registration through Eventbrite, where guests can select a preferred date and time slot. Once registered, participants simply present their digital ticket at the front counter or drive-thru during their chosen time to receive the complimentary sandwich.
This new test item pairs Chick-fil-A’s signature fried chicken with bacon and warm waffles for a sweet-and-savory combination. The initial sampling is available exclusively at the Sprayberry location, and no customizations are allowed. The offer is limited to one sandwich per registered guest, and participants must be 18 years or older.
Quantities are limited and time slots are expected to fill quickly, so early registration is encouraged. You can register online here.
Other Test Items Across the Country
While East Cobb and Marietta guests get to be the first to preview the new Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, Chick-fil-A is also experimenting with new menu items in other select markets.
- Salt Lake City, Utah: The Jalapeño Ranch Club Chicken Sandwich is on trial, built with the Original filet (or Spicy/Grilled by request) on a toasted buttermilk ranch bun, topped with pepper jack cheese, candied bacon strips, lettuce, tomato, and pickled jalapeños. A side of Jalapeño Ranch Sauce adds an extra kick. The Jalapeño Ranch Club is available through July 19, 2025 while
- Jacksonville, Florida: Guests there are trying the Creamy BBQ Chicken Sandwich, featuring the Original filet (Spicy or Grilled options also available) on a toasted, buttery bun with Creamy BBQ Slaw and sweet heat pickle chips. It pairs perfectly with Creamy BBQ Sauce on the side. The Creamy BBQ Chicken Sandwich is available through July 19, 2025 while
- St. Louis, Missouri: The test spotlight is on Smokehouse BBQ Nuggets, available in 5, 8, or 12-count portions with either breaded or grilled nuggets. Each serving is drizzled with zesty Smokehouse BBQ Sauce and topped with two dill pickles. The Smokehouse BBQ Nuggets are available through August 16, 2025.
- Baltimore, Maryland: Guests can order two options during this test run. The Chicken and Waffles Breakfast Sandwich is sold from open to 10:30 am and includes maple flavored waffles, a breakfast sized chicken filet, applewood smoked bacon, honey butter spread, and syrup on the side. Later in the day, the Chicken and Waffles Sandwich uses the full size chicken filet and is available from 10:30 am to close. Both items are available from December 1, 2025 through January 24, 2026.
- San Antonio, Texas: The Chicken and Waffles Breakfast Sandwich is the featured item, offered from open to 10:30 am. It comes with maple flavored waffles, a breakfast sized chicken filet, applewood smoked bacon, honey butter spread, and syrup on the side. Guests can order through the Chick fil A App or online from December 1, 2025 through January 24, 2026.
