With the recent addition of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Cobb County draws major shows and performers year-round. Also in East Cobb is The Art Place – Mountain View, School of Rock East Cobb, 120 Tavern & Music Hall, and in nearby Marietta Square is the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, Atlanta Lyric Theatre, and Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. Kennesaw is home to the Bailey Performance Center at KSU, and other popular venues include Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta and Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in nearby Alpharetta.
